Halloween

Riv's hotel handed out carving pumpkins to each department. I think it's for a contest and if so, he is totally going to win! we did a grim reaper carving and I was quite pleased with the outcome! It was hard to get a good picture but you get the idea...

Chinatown

On Sunday, we decided to go into to San Fran and check out Chinatown. The cool part is the ferry we can take from Alameda to the Embarcadero.

New Pictures

I finally took some recent pictures of aiyden and our new place. We have moved from concord to alameda, about 20 miles closer to san francisco and only 3 miles from riv's work. we've gone back to apartment living which has been an adjustment but we really like our little community and have met more people in the last week than we did all of last year. the apartment is coming together, we still have some storage solutions to get but at least it is mostly unpacked! the area is why we moved to alameda! the beach is across the street, shopping center is 3 blocks away, and the cute downtown area is .5 mile away! we plan on getting a bike trailer for aiyden and bike riding everywhere, no car needed! we walked down to the classic car show yesterday and took some pics. cars are aiyden's favorite things right now! he points them out everywhere we go so the car show was a big hit! aiyden and i also walked along the beach the other morning and got a few shots, he is fascinated by the birds but doesn't like the sand...
